A trainee taking flight classes in Australia was able to land safely in a Cessna light aircraft during his first practical flight lesson after his trainer lost consciousness while flying.

According to the BBC, the air traffic control room at Gandakot airport in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, received a distress call from Max Sylvester, an hour after flying on Saturday, when his teacher fell unconscious. It next to him.

Specialists at the airport provided guidance to the distressed student, so that he could land safely.

Sylvester was praised for his quick response and hardship.

"He is relaxed on my shoulder, and whenever I try to wake him down he falls again," Sylvester said of his teacher during an emergency call - before receiving instructions from airport specialists to land the plane.

Asked if he knew how to operate the Cessna, Sylvester replied: "This is my first lesson."

Sylvester had received two theoretical flying lessons before the test, but this was the first time he had boarded the plane, and he had never tried to land a plane before.

After flying around the airport for about an hour and making a number of attempts, Sylvester finally managed to land safely on the runway, where his family and emergency staff were waiting.
