The new theater at the Cultural Complex, which has recently undergone a series of renovation and restoration work in Al Hosn area, will officially open to the public next Wednesday, offering a program full of musical and musical evenings and performances.

The most prominent stars of the concerts are the Emirati artist Mehed Hamad, the Iraqi musician Naseer Shamma, in addition to a bunch of local and international plays.

The performances will begin next Wednesday with the Orchestra 2350 BC, led by musician Naseer Shamma, who will perform a show titled "From Assyria to Seville." On Friday, Naseer Shamma and the Beit al-Oud Orchestra will perform a ceremony to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Beit al-Oud.

Commenting on the theater program, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism, said: `` We are delighted to unveil this program, which includes exceptional performances by local and international artists among the pillars of the Cultural Complex, which is a cultural beacon that elevates knowledge and cultural awareness and a prominent platform for empowering artists. '' He added that the new theater is dedicated to the vision launched by the Cultural Foundation since its establishment in the 1980s, which is based on strong foundations of cultural exchange and civilizational dialogue among the cultures of the world, while celebrating the various forms of art on the diversity of its art schools.

Aziz Maraqa, a rising Jordanian artist and author, will make his debut in the UAE with eclectic concerts featuring rock-jazz mixes on September 20.

The complex is dedicated to a program to support Emirati theater performances on the second Tuesday of each month, in cooperation with the Theatrical Association. The program opens with a presentation of the Kalba Society for Folklore and Theater, on September 10, with the play «Ahmed Bint Sulaiman».

The Cultural Complex Theater, Caracalla Theater, one of the most successful bands in the region on 26 and 27, will also return to present the Thousand and One Nights show.

During the inaugural season, the Cultural Center Theater will feature a series of classical music performances, with Guillaume Bellum and Mathilde Calderini performing "The Piano and Flute Concert" (September 24), and the Russian National Orchestra with Mikhail Belnev and Lucas Dibarge. (10 October) and Tchaikovsky (11 October), along with a “Family Story” show, for Chalik Quartet (17 October).
