Samira Saeed Al Zaidi and Iman Mohammed Al Mulla have broken into one of the most delicate fields of work in the world to contribute to the realization of the aspirations of their homeland UAE by providing a new equation for the economy not only dependent on oil, stressing that the UAE girls are able to excel and compete in all fields, they are inspiring for the future generation in achievement Innovation and giving.

Samira and Iman are Emiratis who have demonstrated their ability to manufacture aircraft parts and structures for Boeing and Airbus and have achieved success in this vital area.

Iman Al-Mulla, an electrical engineer with a Master of Systems Engineering and Management from Khalifa University in 2016, joined Strata in April 2017, and within a short period of time she was able to prove herself in many aircraft manufacturing programs.

"I had the opportunity to work on three different programs for the world's leading aircraft manufacturers," she said.

Manufacturing Engineer

Iman added: “I joined a team of Boeing 777x for the new horizontal and vertical rib stabilizer set and worked in a team of 13 UAE engineers. We developed and improved the manufacturing of the exterior surfaces of the Airbus A330 wings using carbon fiber to reduce the weight of the upgraded chassis by more than 15%, through this project (Strata) obtained the certificate of accreditation for the engineering design of the aircraft structure EN9100 ».

“I recently joined the Pilate Belly Manufacturing Team and managed the entire program, and is now a manufacturing body engineer for the Pilatus PC 24 Belly in the Clean Room.”

She is proud to be among the 86% of Strata's female citizens, of whom 53% are citizens and 86% are women. Samira Al-Zaidi is an Aircraft Body Technician at the exterior roof assembly department of the Airbus A380 wings. She joined Strata through a training program.

“I started my practical and practical career for eight months at the UAE University, and then I joined the company for field work for 1700 training hours until I took the qualification and the current job title, where I completed four years in the company.”

She added: `` Nothing is impossible; Emirati women are able to accomplish, work and reach the highest positions, as they have the full support of wise leadership, and they only have to choose the goal, plan and reach it, '' describing the path of success as not easy, but determination and passion are the basis of success.
