Cali, on his new album: "For the first time, I leave myself an almost total freedom"

His fans have been waiting for an original album for three years now. The most recent, Defended Things (2016), remained in the committed vein, unique to the artist since its inception. Philippe Vandel on Europe 1 Tuesday, the singer Cali evokes his new album in preparation.

"I put words on music that sometimes is not at all my story"

A new color and a difference with his previous opus. It is, hollow, the promise of Cali about his new album. "I do a lot of songs with Augustin Charnet, for the first time, I leave myself almost total freedom," he says. "In my first albums, I brought guitar-voice-piano Here I have fun to tell him 'go balance things and have fun: you're 24, I'm 50', details -t it.
