When summer is over, the movie autumn is gaining momentum. Among other things, Jonas Gardell's classic A Comedian's Growing Up and the Danish film Divorced by Christoffer Boe take on the white canvas. Ninja Thyberg continues the recording of a young woman in the porn industry and there will be a new Sunefilm directed by Jon Holmberg. Just in time for Halloween 2020, the family movie about monster agent Nelly Rapp, based on Martin Widmark's books, has a premiere.

At Tuesday's press conference, writers Emma Hamberg and Denize Karabuda also presented the SVT series Summer –85, and screenwriter and actor Felix Herngren is up to date with a new film project. Gorki Glaser Müller presented the documentary about Grandpa Patricio Galvez who fought for his grandchildren in Syria.

- Västra Götaland maintains its position as the Nordic region's leading film region. In three years, 55 feature films and the TV drama have been recorded here. During the autumn we look forward to a long series of recordings that keep the West Swedish film industry at times overheated. We are also looking forward to twelve premieres and all co-productions shown at international festivals, most recently Venice and Toronto, says Peter Possne, Production Manager at Film in the West in a press release.
