American guitarist and producer Neal Casal , known primarily for his work with Ryan Adams and Chris Robinson Brotherhood, has died at age 50 .
Ryan Adams himself has confirmed the death, of which no further details are known, through Twitter with a sad message: "My heart is broken. What an honor to have met you, true believer. I love you."
In another tweet, Adams added: "I'm so grateful for every moment. When I was having ocular migraine seizures on stage, and only Neal saw him. He came over and gave me this look ... 'You can do it, Ryan' My fingers closed in a seizure. That kindness and brotherhood is unique in life. "
Neal Casal, born in Denville (New Jersey, United States) on November 2, 1968, developed his career as a musician, singer, guitarist, producer, composer and photographer.
As a guitarist, he was part of The Cardinals between 2005 and 2009 , Ryan Adams' band , recording three studio albums.
He also played in Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Hard Working Americans, The Skie Players and Circles Around the Sun - whose website is now a photo of Neal - as well as publishing twelve albums as a soloist.
