A study at the University of Queens in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has warned of a mistake made while preparing rice that poses a major health risk.

The researchers found that adding enough water to rice during cooking was not enough to remove a toxic substance from it.

Because the roots of rice plants extend to water, which contains a high proportion of antibiotics, especially arsenic poison.

The researchers said that rice consumption in this case may cause over time very serious health problems in some people, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes or some forms of cancer.

The researchers advised to soak the pills for an entire night in 5 times their amount of water. They should then be washed before cooking because this saves 80% of harmful substances.
