Over the course of two consecutive nights, the theater of the Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi hosted the Samma Contemporary Dance Group by Syrian director and choreographer Alaa Krimid, marking the end of its fourth season.

Direct interaction

Cremaid and the main dancer in the band, Lana Fahmi, and the rest of the artists were able to interact with the audience with a combination of bodies falling on the stage and coming back to resist, with a lighting in which Crimide was a director who added more spaces to enter the understanding of the tales, as well as music that created dimensions that you feel as a recipient, and you feel her smile. The moment your eyes tear more moments.

The establishment of a feature of the dance theater dates back to 2003 in the Syrian capital, Damascus, by Krimid in an attempt to enthuse Middle Eastern audiences with contemporary dance. Krimid's creations were exhibited at the Damascus Opera House, the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and various theaters in the region.
