The Journalists Syndicate Council decided to prevent Reham Said from practicing any media activity until the legal status with the Syndicate was reconciled, following the investigation of the Sabaya program on Al-Hayat channel, which dealt with the issue of obesity and aroused the resentment of Egyptian women.
The union also decided after its emergency meeting, yesterday evening, to inform the public prosecutor against Reham Said regarding the exercise of media activity in violation of the rules of registration in the union.
During her "Good Girls" program, Saeed described the overweight people as a "burden on the state and their families," with some considering her talk out and insulting.
A video clip of her television program appeared on the websites, in which Riham appeared to say that "the traitorous people are dead, a burden on her family and the state, and they distort the view."
