We live in the third golden era of television, whose model has become the leader of the entertainment industry. There is no doubt, television swept the cinema, the latter live bankruptcy and a vacuum that has no historical precedent.

Two lines of action emerged this century: the first dealt with the subject of espionage and political terrorism (Mission Impossible / James Bond / Jason Bourne), and the second dealt with a line back to the basics and roots (John Wick), which we wrote about in reading the film « John Wake 3 ».

Television took the line of political terrorism, which is the focus of reading this film, and presented the most successful model represented in the series 24 last decade, which raised the ceiling of the competition so high that the cinema was only a tradition, and did not offer anything in return, despite the passage of 10 years since the end of that series.

The film Angel Has Fallen «Fall of the Guardian Angel» the third part of the series «Fall», which was launched in 2013 with the movie «The fall of Olympus» and followed in 2016 the film «Fall of London». The film follows the story of Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), the American president's bodyguard who deals with attempts to attack / kidnap / assassinate the president, whether Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) in the previous two parts or Alan Trimble (Morgan Freeman) in this part and concluding presumably !

We do not think that director Rick Roman Woh - who co-wrote with Mark Kimin (The Karate Kid and Tekken Books) and Matt Cook - tried to bring in just two new scenes: the drone terrorist attack at the beginning of the film, a good scene for an unworthy medium. His cinematic presentation, and the scene of the final confrontation with terrorists.

The consumed and recycled story is: US President Banning's guard, Butler, on the verge of retirement from fieldwork and moving to a desk behind (paper promotion and field setback). Wade Jennings (Danny Houston), who runs a private security company such as Blackwater, asks his friend Banning to tell the president that his foreign policy of staying away from military interventions is bankrupt.

The goalkeeper and his boss Trumbel Freeman go out on a hunting trip, and suddenly a bat appears on the horizon, which turns out to be drone drones that fire shells at the president and his security team and kill them. Do you know who orchestrated the attack?

The FBI, led by agent Helen Thompson (Jada Pinkett Smith), intervenes and accuses Banning of masterminding the assassination attempt after finding evidence of his involvement in the crime scene. He must now escape the authorities' grip to resolve the crisis and exonerate himself.

The story is exactly

Does the story sound familiar? The reader may be surprised to learn that the above story is precisely the events of Series 24 in its sixth 2007 and 2007 season in particular. We do not want to mention the real traitor within the President's circle so as not to spoil the events of that wonderful series for those who have not seen it, and not the events of this film, which you will understand even if you saw it inverted from the last scene to the first, or if you watched it without dialogues or if you watched you busy with your smartphone, you will understand All cases because he wants you to understand him against your will.

If you missed the scene of Pinket Smith saying "crush" you will hear it again say the same word minutes later, and you know that it failed to arrest Banning! If you miss the scene of the president in a coma you will see him again in a coma, and the truth is we do not know the usefulness of the second scene of the coma, but that Freeman decorates it!

If you miss Paneng's escape from the mountain militias, you won't regret it because he gets rid of them in a fraction of a second, and you won't understand how he did it.If you ask yourself, you'll see him driving a truck on the run, and the scene disappears before you finish asking yourself.

There is a scene where Banning gets rid of his jailers in total darkness, and you won't see anything even if you try. It is followed by a scene of Baning's resort to his father, Clay (Nick Nolte), a Vietnam-era commando veteran who resembles Santa Claus and retired in a nearby forest because he hates a government that robbed him of his youth and turned its back on him.

Between the best and the worst

The best thing about this film is that it is not boring, and the worst thing is its debatable debates, especially the phrase: “We are Black” which if you missed at the beginning you will not miss it at the end, which is a masterpiece of memorable phrases in films that do not deserve a cinema if Netflix decided to adopt this Product!

Good performers include Butler, who is about 50 years old, and an excellent Houston in a wicked role, and by the way the son of the legendary American director John Houston. The character of Houston Jr. speaks of logic of merit, and the beauty of his performance lies in his ability to disturb the viewer, even for the film is not boring at least!

Tim Blake Nelson as Vice President Kirby, who takes advantage of the coma of the president to wage war against Moscow, accused of unjustly recklessly recruiting Banning, performed more like a cartoonist. In other words, it's like Satardi Night Live.

Freeman, who played the role of speaker of the House of Representatives in the previous two parts, gives the film confirmation that he is going in the expected direction, and if he remained in a coma, the film would lose its appeal even for a film that does not deserve to be screened. Freeman was, and still is, a symbol of wisdom in most of his roles, the second time he played an American president after he played in the 1998 film Deep Impact.

Butler's previous film, `` Hunter Keller '' late last year, was recycled from the 1995 film Crimson Tide, which was accepted by Thieves' Walker in early 2018.It was also a recycling from the magnificent Heat of the 1990s, butler was in a role similar to Michael's classic Pacino. Man.

The series "Fall" in this film has collapsed despite the heroic victory, and we hope that it stops or moves away from the cinema. Watch this film only if you are tolerant of bankruptcy, and your ability to accept his badness as a kind of entertainment, and of course if you are a fan of action «stupid», because indeed, despite all its flaws is not boring.

Mining the forest .. The most beautiful

Clay lectures his son in politics in a recycled dialogue from the past decade's films - and of course 24 - and then an attack by the security firm's mercenaries, and here we see one of the most beautiful scenes of action in a film not worthy of a cinematic shot of the jungle.

Clay (Nick Nolte) is a Vietnam warrior who resembles a retired Santa Claus in a forest.
