- We have had it tough all summers because there are less people. We have not had enough income. We have to dismiss the staff and close this beautiful place, says Art Gallery director Ricardo Donoso to Dagens Nyheter.
The two final exhibitions at the Art Gallery will be with Nils Gunnar Zander and Frank Björklund, which opens on 24 August. Remaining exhibitions this fall will be canceled.
The bankruptcy also affects 120 students who have had course activities in the art hall.
Edsvik's Art Hall has been around for 14 years and has annually organized about twelve exhibitions with both Swedish and international artists.
