Encarnación Paso was born on April 25, 1933 in Madrid, in a family dedicated to the theater. She was granddaughter of playwright Antonio Paso and niece of the also famous authors Alfonso and Manuel Paso.

His first appearance was, with 14 years of age, in the movie Button Anchor , by Ramón Torrado, but he debuted professionally in the company of Milagros Leal and Salvador Soler Mari. Later, with Catalina Barcena, she performed works by Bernard Shaw, Martinez Sierra, Julio Alejandro and Carlos Arniches.

He has performed at the Theaters in Madrid and made numerous tours throughout the rest of Spain with various companies . Together with Ismael Merlo, he represented a large part of the Spanish comic repertoire.
