Singer Asker Makhmudov Dies
Died People's Artist of North Ossetia, singer Asker Makhmudov. He died on August 17 in Sochi at the age of 72.
This was reported by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" with reference to the Ministry of Culture of North Ossetia.
Makhmudov is known to listeners for the song “My City Ordzhonikidze”, as well as for the composition “Madina” in Ossetian.
He worked on the same stage with Muslim Magomayev, Joseph Kobzon and Vladimir Vysotsky.
Earlier it was reported that Russian and American singer Willy Tokarev died at the age of 84.
