The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Turkey has called on citizens in Istanbul to be vigilant after two Saudis while at a coffee shop were attacked by an armed attack that resulted in one being shot and stealing their personal belongings.


The embassy said in a tweet on its Twitter account carried by the newspaper "Okaz": "Because two citizens while they were in a café in (Sisli) in Istanbul, an armed attack by unknown assailants, one of them was shot and stolen their personal belongings. Who are in Istanbul take care. "
The embassy warned its citizens of both sexes to take caution and not to go to the "Taksim" and "Sisli", which attract a large number of Saudi tourists visiting the city.
