A woman today admitted to the Magdeburg City Court the murder of a pensioner and his pension for many years.

The 62-year-old defendant said she had killed the man in self-defense after trying to sexually assault her.

The accused said she had attacked and killed the man, whose neighbor had been caring for years, with a knife and an ax, adding that the incident occurred 24 years ago.
