A man in his 40's bathing in the sea Drowning death
In the afternoon of 13th, a man in his 40s who was bathing in the coast of Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture was drowned and transported to the hospital, but died.
After 3:00 pm on the 13th, the fire department was informed that “a man who had been swimming together drowned” at the Kirisiri coast in Otsuchi.
The man was taken to a hospital in Kamaishi City with cardiopulmonary arrest, but his death was confirmed one hour later.
According to the police and the fire department, a man in his 40s who died in Kamaishi City visited a beach with four acquaintances and was swimming 50 meters offshore with his acquaintance.
The site of the Kirisiri coast is the influence of the reconstruction work from the Great East Japan Earthquake, which means that there were no observers because the beach was not opening.
