The County Administrative Board of Skåne wants to prohibit people from climbing the sculpture for safety reasons and has therefore submitted a proposal with new regulations for the Kullaberg nature reserve.
-We don't want people to get hurt simply. It can be dangerous to climb in Nimis and we want to highlight it in some way, says Christer Persson, deputy head of the nature conservation unit at the county administrative board in Skåne to the radio.
Last year, Lars Vilks was sentenced to fines for area protection after he reinstated parts of Nimis following a fire.
