Los Angeles Opera to verify allegations against Placido Domingo
The Los Angeles Opera will verify the allegations of sexual harassment that have been brought against CEO Placido Domingo.
This was reported by AFP with reference to the statement of the opera house.
“We strive to do everything possible to create a professional and creative environment in which all our employees and artists will equally feel comfortable and feel that they are appreciated and respected,” the message says.
As noted, the press service promised to attract an independent lawyer to verify allegations of harassment.
Earlier, nine women accused the Spanish opera singer and conductor Placido Domingo of sexual harassment. They claim that Domingo molested them at different periods of time since the 1980s.
The singer himself denies the charges against him.
