A 70-year-old Canadian man mistakenly arrives at the police, believing that he is the number of information. Security forces discovered at his home about a hundred weapons that were seized.

Two days ago they discovered 94 rifles and six pistols at a house in Shibogi, in the eastern province of Nova Scotia, police said.

The 73-year-old man had a license for these weapons but did not store them in a systematic way, that is, to be disassembled and locked in a locked closet. Police confiscated the weapons and briefly arrested the man.

On Monday, federal police went to the man's house in a precautionary measure to verify his safety, although he confirmed he had been contacted by mistake. He called the police line 911 while he wanted to call inquiries at 411.

The Federal Police adopts a policy of relocating to a place when a call is received, even if the call is made wrong and even if the caller disconnects. Federal District Police spokeswoman Jennifer Clarke said it could be a wounded person who is unable to speak or is directly threatened and cannot speak freely. The police found the weapons quickly.

The man was released pending a court appearance in Yarmouth on October 5, police said
