Wearing a modern high-heeled shoe has severely injured a mannequin foot that almost led to amputation.
As usual, the model wore high-heeled shoes, but she noticed small pills containing fluid and then a tumor, eventually discovering sepsis.
23-year-old model Gemma Downey went to the doctor immediately after her ankle swelling, but told her it was a normal injury to wake up in the morning in case of vomiting, high fever and rapid heartbeat.
Immediately, Downey went to the hospital again to find out that she had sepsis.
The doctors told Downey that she was lucky to have rushed to them or she would be amputated.
