MADRID (Reuters) - A tribe in Madagascar has found the body of a British student who fell from a plane several days ago.

The British student at the University of Cambridge Alana Kotland (19 years), jumped from a light plane «Cessna», after she was conducting research in the "Angaji" remote in Madagascar.

The young woman was reportedly killed after she removed the seat belt, opened the plane door and then fell from an altitude of 1,066 meters, and fell in an area filled with predators.

Police in Madagascar posted last-minute pictures of the small plane, showing the pilot and another passenger attempting to catch the British student in an attempt to dissuade her from the jump.
