Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism will inaugurate a theater and library for children within the Cultural Complex on September 4, which witnessed a wide range of restoration and renovation works in Al Hosn Cultural District.

Abu Dhabi Children's Library extends over three floors with an area of ​​5250 square meters and is divided into several immersive and different social spaces suitable for all age groups .. The design of the library is inspired by three-dimensional stereoscopic books, where the library supports the way of learning to play, where children become part of the story of the book, amid Delightful, unfamiliar and lively designs, each floor of the library features a special concept inspired by the diverse landscape of the UAE.


The new Children's Library adopts a unique vision based on a set of key priorities, first and foremost the importance of promoting literary expressions and artistic practices.It includes a rich and varied collection of printed and electronic books, including novels, comics and biographical books. The library, with its valuable facilities and programs, will play an important role in instilling a love of reading, a culture of continuous learning, creative thinking and community development in the hearts of young people. It is designed with the “Four Rooms” system, the latest model used in the creation of public libraries now, providing spaces for inspiration, learning, performance presentations and other meeting spaces.


The theater, with a capacity of 900 people, will also play a pivotal role in promoting various forms of contemporary, local, popular and international performing arts, including music, contemporary dance and theater performances in the heart of the city.
