The US court, a young woman who is fond of reading the death page in the press, is accused of carrying out a series of house robberies during a funeral.
A US court has formally charged the 28-year-old Latonia Stewart with six burglaries between 2017 and 2018 in neighborhoods inhabited by wealthy New Yorkers.
The attorney general in the county of Winchester, north of the city, said the young woman was carefully reading notices of obituary and identifying relatives' homes before they entered their homes by smashing windows during the funeral.
