The number of Iranians residing in the UAE has dropped by 44,000, according to the reformist newspaper Etem.
"The number of Iranians in the United Arab Emirates has declined from 117,000 in 2016 to 73,000 today, reflecting the deterioration of relations between the two countries," the newspaper said in its Saturday edition.
"The number of Iranian tourists heading to the UAE also dropped from 700,000 to 350,000 during the same period," she said.
