And then Trump's adviser, a great lover of wars, John Bolton, pushed the British to capture the Iranian supertanker. And they agreed. Found an argument: that the European Union imposed an embargo on the supply of oil to Syria. Syrians must freeze and sweat until they come to their senses and submit to European masters. And then the Iranian oil goes to Syria. Need to stop. And here the British marines, the best of the best, seize a giant Iranian tanker.
First, what does the European embargo on Iranian oil in Syria have? The British seem to be leaving the European Union, moreover, the European embargo prohibits EU members from supplying oil to Syria, but Iran is not a member of the European Union at all.

And then the Iranians decided to intercept the British tanker. In addition, he damaged the Iranian fishing vessel, but did not react to SOS signals, which is prohibited at sea. And so they stopped him and sent him to his port.
Israeli raids in Syria, the British seizure of the Iranian tanker in Gibraltar, the American embargo are acts of war, and I want to respond to them in a military manner. And the Iranians want to give the aggressors in the face. Right now they threw pictures of 17 American spies caught back in March. Some of them are executed. President Trump hisses with anger - no, they say, they are not spies, we have no spies, we only have glorious scouts.
So in a short time the water in the Persian Gulf boiled.
There is one good way out of this situation: pass it back to everyone. Let the British give up the Iranian tanker, and the Iranians give up the English tanker, let Trump calm down with his sanctions and let the Iranians live in peace. And the Iranians just want it - they are ready to strengthen the inspection of their nuclear facilities. They are still not going to create nuclear weapons. It would be good for Trump to think again and not drag the world into a war, the end of which is unpredictable. But he needs the support of pro-Israeli members of Congress to cope with political opponents. And they want more pressure on Iran.
