Minister of State, Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, inaugurated the exhibition of UAE-Norwegian relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a number of ministry officials and the Norwegian Ambassador to the UAE, Pens Akos.

Nusseibeh stressed the importance of historical relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the fields of knowledge and culture. He explained that this exhibition is held on the occasion of the celebration of the 40 years of cultural exchange between Norway and the UAE. The UAE is seen as a pioneer country in many fields, foremost of which is investment in the welfare of humanity. He pointed out that the real wealth and strength of the country lies in the dedication of innovation and the promotion of intellectual wealth through its openness to the cultures and civilizations of the world, In the context of tolerance and the service of humanity.

For his part, the Norwegian ambassador to the UAE said that the UAE is Norway's largest trading partner in the Gulf and is one of Norway's favorite destinations for work and holiday.

He said the exhibition "Norway - UAE: 40 Years of Culture" tells the story of the development of relations between the two friendly countries, and how the UAE evolved from wooden houses to skyscrapers, in just four decades, which is a real miracle.
