Abu Dhabi Police arrested two Asian nationals on charges of cultivating 37 "cannabis" trees on a farm in the city of Al Ain by Operation Mortality.
The Abu Dhabi Police received information that a person of Asian nationality had cultivated "cannabis" in a plantation and was preparing a room for drug abuse.
The police conducted their inquiries to verify the authenticity of the information and to monitor the person for whom the information was received by a task force set up for this purpose.
Legal action was taken to adjust the "target" after locating the farm and carrying out the operation by the team and raiding the farm and arresting them.
Abu Dhabi Police called for cooperation with police officers in the fight against drugs and the prosecution of its promoters and users, urging community members not to hesitate to report any suspicious behavior by calling 999 at the Command and Control Center or 8002626.
