The movement of yellow vests is resisting Cherbourg but the demonstrators are much less numerous than the first days. This Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at noon, the roundabout Malraux La Glacerie was released, that of Tourelles Tourelles is still busy.

The wall of yellow vests mounted Saturday around the conurbation of Cherbourg paralyzing the city begins to crumble. The prefecture counted on Tuesday morning, two roundabouts busy Cherbourg: that of La Glacerie at the exit of the RN13 and the roundabout Penesme Tourlaville. Small groups continued to block several sites in the Cotentin, including Martinvast and Diélette, which made access to the Flamanville nuclear power plant difficult.

The seat in Tourlaville

At noon, the rumor of the arrival of CRS, denied by the Prefecture, caused confusion. The yellow vests decided to unblock La Glacerie to swell the troops already present in Tourlaville. The roundabout is however open to vehicles.

Meeting at 7 pm

And now ? Difficult to say which direction will take the movement that is clearly fading. Protesters, suspicious even aggressive for some, do not pronounce. A meeting is scheduled tonight at Penesme roundabout at Tourlaville at 7 pm
