"The Red Scarves" is a group that was created Monday on Facebook in response to that of yellow Vests. Initially, it was residents of Vaucluse who wanted to "denounce the actions of yellow vests" and put an end to blockages in their department. The members of this closed group advocate for the "free movement" of all motorists and the right not to adhere to the ideas of yellow vests.

Monday, a group was born on Facebook to counter that of yellow Vests. They called themselves the Red Scarves and counted this Friday at 3 pm nearly 2000 members. The profile picture is quite explicit: a red bandana wrapped around a bicep and the words "I'm not Yellow Vest", the last two words crossed out with a red line.

This Facebook group was created by users of the Vaucluse to "denounce the actions of yellow vests and the inaction of public authorities . "

Do you approve of yellow vests?

"Since the prefect and law enforcement do not want to enforce the rule of law, the citizen movement " scarves red " will do it himself, without violence, but with determination," read in the description from this Facebook group.

To be able to join this closed group, one must also show white paw. When we click on "Join the group", a bubble invites us to answer this single question: "do you approve the action of the Yellow Vests? ". The administrators thus reserve the right to approve or not the entry of a new member among the Red Scarves.

Circulate, work but also think differently!

BFMTV explains that this new movement aims to unblock in a "peaceful way" , certain roundabouts or blocked roads in the Vaucluse. "Our group calls for a halt to the hostage taking of French citizens, we also call for an end to the destruction of public property," said a director.

On the page, members of the group publish their testimony to the image of Brice who "explains being stuck every day at the toll of La Ciotat" . Olivier also asks for the right to "free movement and the freedom to work, nothing more! " Rachel also wants to be able to say that she is not "of the same opinion as the yellow Vests" . Just like Sonia who claims "the right to circulate without being insulted and to be obliged to put on his vest to be able to pass to the dams" .

"Rights and duties"

For François who also joins the group: "It is important to remind Yellow Vests that we are in a state of law with rights but also homework. Remind them that democracy is the most beautiful of victories. Remind them that dialogue and negotiation are the basis of progress [...] it is also our role to remind the government that it is important to listen actively to the grumbling of the GJ and to explain widely its policy with simple words ... For me, the red scarves, part of the people, must become true mediators .
