The Syrian artist Akram Talawi died at the age of 63 on Saturday night after performing an open heart surgery.

The late participated in many Syrian series, and played an important role in the series "Bab Al Hara", where he led the character of Abu Tayseer.

He also participated in other dramatic works such as Omar al-Khayyam, Izz al-Din al-Qassam in 1981, Bani Hashim in 2009, warm hearts, dirt brothers, Tamer Hanah, Layali al-Salihiyyah and the red line, and the last days of love and sincerity and promise.


He was born in Damascus in 1955 and graduated from the Faculty of Education, Department of Psychology in Damascus, and joined the Syrian Artists Syndicate in 1985.
