New York-based singer Taylor Swift has released her new song "Ana" (May) at a US football event on ABC last night in Nashville.

"Mei is a song about celebrating someone's uniqueness," Swift, 29, said in an interview with ABC's Robin Roberts. "With a pop song, we have the ability to make the melody stuck in people's heads, and I want to be a song that makes them feel more satisfied with themselves," she said. Swift began singing in Nashville when she was 15 years old before launching pop songs "Bad Blood" and "Shake It Off". Her last album, Reputation, was released in 2017, and included several songs, including "Locke Watt Meed Me Do", directed at people who attacked her personally and professionally.
