A psychiatric expert considers the confessed supermarket counterpressor of Lake Constance guilty. The expert Hermann Assfalg now presented his expertise before the district court of Ravensburg.

He had come to the conclusion that the conditions for placement in a psychiatric hospital are not met, said Assfalg. Among other things, this finding was based on an approximately three-hour conversation with the defendant and on process observations.

A borderline personality disorder of the 54-year-old excluded Assfalg. Criteria for a narcissistic disorder, however, are given - but not to the extent that they have permanently affected the will of the man.

Five glasses of poisoned baby food

According to prosecutors, the defendant had tried about a year ago to extort 11.75 million euros from retail companies. He admitted in the main hearing that he had placed five glasses of poisoned baby food in supermarkets in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance.

During the trial, the man had several times invoked an attested borderline disorder and thus tried to explain his actions. Those affected have difficulty adjusting their emotions. Often they are extremely sensitive and feel misunderstood by the environment.
