The Versailles prosecutor's office requested the abandonment of the minor rape lawsuits against two firefighters and requested their referral to the Criminal Court for sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.

The "lack of consent" of the adolescent, necessary to speak of rape, seems "insufficiently characterized" . It is appropriate to "requalify the facts in sexual assault on minor," said the prosecution, an offense punishable by seven years in prison.

The investigating judge must now assess and decide whether the two men will be tried before a criminal court or an assize court. The prosecution also requested that a third firefighter be tried for sexual assault on the girl, rather than sexual assault, failing to establish the absence of consent.

Seven firefighters prosecuted in total

In this case, which dates back to 2009, seven firefighters are prosecuted for their actions with the teenager.

At the time, the girl was on heavy medication because of frequent attacks of spasmophilia and tetany. Her state of health requires many interventions by firefighters, over 130 between 2008 and 2010. According to those around her, she developed a real "firefighters cult" .

The teenager contacts some thanks to social networks and expresses "his wish for sex in very raw terms" , according to the indictment. In two years, she multiplies relationships with about twenty firefighters in their twenties, mostly at the barracks of Bourg-la-Reine (Hauts-de-Seine).

To the investigators who questioned her about her multiple sexual adventures, the teenager, whose psychological fragility was noted by several doctors, said she had "need to hurt herself" .

They exchanged his phone number

With a firefighter, she will maintain a relationship between February and November 2009. After having mentioned in the early times a "sexual friendship" , the teenager will evolve gradually to denounce reports not consented. Involved, an afternoon at this fireman with two colleagues, during which she said she was forced to perform blowjobs to two of them, while the third touched.

The survey also looked at the many other partners of the girl. Some firefighters declared her "stuck as nympho" and exchanged her phone number. For his mother, however, they could not ignore his mental and physical health, very altered by taking medication.

Most are not prosecuted, with the exception of four firefighters suspected of failing to assist anyone in danger. They are accused of having abandoned the teenager in the middle of a spasmophilia crisis, after two of them had a simultaneous sexual relationship with her in a parking lot, without knowing her age. A non-place was required against them.
