“On January 23, Svetlana Viktorovna Vinogradova, a leading lecturer and musicologist at the Moscow Philharmonic Society, passed away,” the statement says.

It is noted that she was actively engaged in the popularization of music and the education of young listeners, as well as the search for "new meanings and serious topics that she was not afraid to discuss in the concert hall, and on television screens, and in radio broadcasting."

It is specified that the creative activity of Vinogradova lasted about 70 years.

“Several generations, millions of listeners literally grew up at her concerts,” the philharmonic said.

The farewell to Vinogradovaya will take place on January 26 at 1:30 pm at the Nikolo-Arkhangelskoye cemetery, where cremation will take place.
