Media reported plans for Universal Pictures to make a film about Lennon

It is reported by the publication Deadline Hollywood.

It is noted that to date, the authors of the project have not yet chosen a name for the picture.

According to the portal, the film director could be Jean-Marc Vallée, who shot the “Dallas Buyers Club” nominated for an Oscar.

The script was written by Anthony McCarten, who created Stephen Hawking's Universe.

Filming, presumably, will begin at the end of next year.

Earlier it was reported that the Japanese artist Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon, recorded a cover of the famous song Imagine.
