To save money, refuel in Sudan. The Auto Plus magazine had fun calculating the distance that can be traveled with 50 € of fuel in more than thirty different countries.

China, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Brazil ... Where is the average SP95 liter the cheapest? In full mobilization of yellow vests, the question arises. Is France really more expensive than the average? Not really, if you compare it to your European neighbors.

But, compared to the rest of the world, it's another story. The oil-producing regions are, quite logically, among the least expensive.

Sudan, Iran, Algeria, Egypt ... There, the liter of Unleaded 95 oscillates between 0,25 € and 0,38 €: five times cheaper than in France.

Conversely, the countries of Europe are among the most expensive in the world: Norway, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands ... With rates around € 1.60 / € 1.70 per liter of SP95.

In Sudan, the liter of SP95 costs € 0.11. | Computer Service OF / Auto Plus

425 km of autonomy with 50 € of gasoline in France

To go further, the English insurer Veygo has released his calculator to determine the number of kilometers that can be traveled with 50 € of gasoline, depending on the country.

The Auto Plus magazine dated November 30 has taken up the idea, updating the figures. It is based on the average price of one liter of SP95 and an average consumption of 8 liters per 100. And the results are eloquent.

Thus, with 50 €, we can afford 455 liters of SP95 in Sudan, which allows to travel 5,682 km. In Algeria, with an SP95 at € 0.38 per liter one can travel "only" 1 645 km with 50 €.

And what about France and its 425 km of autonomy: "With 34 liters of unleaded 95 in the tank, you can, from Paris, arrive in Clermont-Ferrand ... Probably on the reserve," wrote the journalist of the automobile magazine François Tarrain.

But there is always worse off. Thus, in Greece, Italy or Norway, the 50 € do not allow to do more than 371 to 390 km.
