The branch replied that it is possible that the tablets, tablets are sweetening.

The kfc branch returned the money to the father and gave him a complaint number.

Peter received a phone call from the branch manager and said he apologized and would open an investigation.

He also received a call from another manager who runs Kentucky restaurants in the area.

A restaurant spokesman said: "We really regret the experience of Peter's daughter, we always want our fans to have the best possible experience in our restaurants and that is why we immediately gave him another meal.

"We've also looked into this with the restaurant team so we can be sure it will not happen again."
