Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg publishes in French her manifesto "Join you," in which she takes up a number of her speeches

"Our house burns", "I want you to panic": in a manifesto of 30 pages published Wednesday in French, the Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg calls to join her in its fight for the climate. Join us : the 65,000-pound little book takes up a number of the young activist's key speeches, edited and translated by the novelist and journalist Flore Vasseur.

Like the January issue of the Davos Economic Forum, where it claimed they were acting "as if our house were on fire, because it is." Some of the texts also respond to the attacks she suffered, stigmatizing her Asperger syndrome or accusing her of being manipulated. This collection (sold at a price of 3 euros) is for the moment only published in French, according to the editions Kero (Calmann-Levy).

A strike for the climate

Since August, Greta Thunberg observes a "strike" of the climate, not going on every Friday to protest in front of the Swedish Parliament or sometimes in other European cities with other young people that she has inspired. On March 15, in response to her call for a "global climate strike", tens of thousands of young people from around the world skipped school and took to the streets. The teenager's Fridays for Future movement is calling for another international day of action on May 24th.
