Canadian rapper Drake broke a chart record that lasted more than 50 years. The musician now has the most US top ten hits in a year.

The previous record holders were the Beatles, who had eleven hits in 1964 in the upper house of the American charts, including "Can not Buy Me Love" and "A Hard Day's Night". Drake could place there in 2018 twelve songs. Most recently, the song "Mia" landed in fifth place. He comes from the Puerto Rican pop star Bad Bunny, Drake gives the song a rap insert.

Drake's other songs include "God's Plan," "Nice For What," and "In My Feelings," which came first in the United States and the United Kingdom. The Canadian has already broken another record this year: his hits in the US took 29 weeks in first place. Previous record holder was Usher.

In Germany, the rapper is not quite so successful. Since 2010 he has had five top ten songs in Germany, the only number one hit in 2016 was "One Dance".
