Arkady Fedotov, author of the “Farewell of Slav” march, died

As noted, the farewell to the poet will take place on November 26.

Different authors wrote texts on the melody “Farewell of the Slav” at different times. In 1967, the USSR published notes of the march with the text of Fedotov.

Fedotov wrote the words to the music of various Far Eastern composers. In particular, in collaboration with Matvey Zhuravlev, he wrote the song “Where the Gray Cupid roars,” which entered the golden fund of local radio and television.

The first book of poems of the poet was published in 1991.
