In a chase by Berlin four policemen have been injured. A 30-year-old had first rammed a car with his car on the night of Friday to escape traffic control. The officials wanted to put an end to his escape by blocking the city highway. But the driver and his passenger jumped over the boundary wall of the A100 on the S-Bahn tracks and ran away.

According to police, the 30-year-old police officers finally pulled out of a hiding place under a parked trailer by force. They arrested him for the time being. The man struggled violently, according to the police. The 24-year-old passenger had been caught before.

Three police officers had to quit their job, the authority gave no information on the nature of their injuries. The detainee was treated in the hospital, his driver's license and his car were confiscated.
