The State Duma returns the historical truth: the deputies approved the draft resolution, which stipulates that the decision of the Congress of People's Deputies of the USSR, which condemned the entry of Soviet troops into Afghanistan, does not comply with the principles of historical justice. Moreover, on February 15, 2019 - on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan - the State Duma will adopt a new decree regarding this military-humanitarian campaign, or, as they said, "the fulfillment of international debt."

In general, this event is extremely significant, and I would not like it to be an ordinary phenomenon in the informational summary or its value was leveled out in idle demagogy. There is no diversion of attention from current problems - rather, a path is set for correcting the mistakes that led to a global geopolitical catastrophe.

Let me remind you, then, in 1989, the deputies of the country, which left to live for two years, said that the introduction of troops in Afghanistan "deserves moral and political condemnation." There was neither the strength nor the will to defend, to protect the interests of a huge state - all flew at breakneck speed to subvert and condemn. Ultimately, betray.

We remember what time it was ... "New thinking", when everything old is under the base. And then ... something yes somehow, an omnipotent market, like an emelina furnace, will decide everything by itself and bring it to the right place. The main thing is to throw off the fetters of ideology, to show the atrocities of the criminal regime. That was looking for. Even the witch hunt did not have to arrange and look for something. Everything in a row and cleaned in the light of the searchlight adjustment, like the eyes of Sauron.

Those liberal and destructive trends that were virally thrown into consciousness at that time were taken for untouchable dogmas for a long time, as axioms. Now they are finally being looked at without hysterical bias and one-sidedness, without worshiping this pagan temple.

Remember, when Russia started the operation in Syria, all the most “progressive” people gloated gloatedly: they said, we’ll get a second Afghan, we’d rather have to prove our point. They covered it up with many victims, and implicitly carried out the thought: know your hearth, cricket, do not stick out, repent for all sins and cultivate an inferiority complex. Or did he think back to the "scoop", or wanted to become an accomplice to those crimes and atrocities?

Or, again, I forgot everything, Ivan, who remembers neither kinship, nor zinc coffins, nor grocery cards, nor Stalin, nor the GULAG, nor the famine — and further on the list of “sins” listed, like biting blows to the cheeks.

This tough, on the verge of a totalitarian, matrix “don't go there - go here” has wedged itself with a thorn from the mind, arranged dictate. It’s time to get rid of many stereotypes and complexes, away from bad weather, and often outright lies, artificial myth-making.

In general, there is a special case with Afghanistan: we practically looked at that campaign through the prism, to put it mildly, of tendentious and far from reality speeches by Academician Andrei Sakharov. They perceived the entry of the Soviet troops there as an unconditional example of a criminal adventure, which almost one led to the disintegration of the country. They asserted to us and still assert that the temptation of a distant country leads to destruction - and it doesn’t matter that Afghanistan was not at all a distant country, but a neighbor, it doesn’t matter that even now Syria is not so far away, and the conflict that broke out there could very soon be very close. It is precisely because of our non-participation, our non-interference, because Russia has had such a policy for many years. She borrowed it from the timeless disintegration of the Union time. After all, on this policy - the blame for the current geopolitical confrontation. And what if not Afghanistan, namely, that in recent years under the leadership of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, the Soviet Union began to dogmatically adhere to the line of non-intervention, and caused it to collapse, that everyone suddenly hid themselves and said: nothing concerns us at all, Adyё ... ”

Nobody wondered what it was like to the participants of the Afghan campaign, who were told that they were not just engaged in dangerous nonsense for which they shed blood, but also indulged in an adventure - either victims, or accomplices ... They left it in such uncertainty, they threw it away. And so it is in everything: then all the citizens of a large country were placed in a situation of duality, when they simply crossed out everything and made them repent for everything, sprinkle ashes on their heads and smile to the whole world with a little smile, with earflaps in their hands. Then, in fact, people were thrown not only along the outskirts of the empire, which was spreading along the seams, but everywhere left in complete confusion, in complete hopelessness.

Now we are going not just to restore the historical truth, but to a gradual recovery from those viruses of disintegration, which unbelted at that inclement time. In this context, the issue of Afghanistan raised by deputies is of fundamental importance.

The State Duma, of course, is taken to be scolded, but it also went and developed along with its country. Moreover, the experience of parliamentarism was not particularly. Yes, it was the main show of the turn of the times, when many fell to the screens and watched the congresses, and then the meetings of the Supreme Soviet.

But the level of discussion there was rather close to the famous transmission of the early nineties “Publicity Box” with its stream of consciousness. Cacophony of opinions, replicas, disputes, which became a self-sufficient thing in itself.

They studied democracy as best they could and how they understood it: through defense in the “August putsch” of 1991, and two years later - through the shooting of the White House. So terribly wobbly, as if in a nine-point storm. And there was also the famous “Xerox box”, which also for many years became a symbol of Russian parliamentarism.

All nineties the parliament struggled with the government - only the dust was. To hysteria and strain. And no matter what it was: Gaidar, Chubais or Primakov, - inertia was formed and a special demagogic ritual of this confrontation to the public was formed. On the other hand, the deputies of the new Russia, especially after the fall of 1993, all this did not prevent to be almost a manual tool for President Yeltsin. And this instrument was controlled by the same conventional xerox box, or rather its contents. There were also times of frank lobbying of a large oligarchy. Everyone remembers which team of conductors of his influence led Khodorkovsky. And such choirs of the commanders of the adherents were with every self-respecting privatizer.

There was a flowering of populism, when all means are good for playing in public, right down to the slogans “To every woman for a man” - and vice versa. Such is the Walpurgis night of the initial stage of the formation of the new Russian parliamentarism with elements of outright Makhnovshchina. Well, yes, take a look at the Rada in the neighboring country - very similar. There tantrums and protracted clowning led to a lot of blood. We do not scare, but we are showing an example of parliamentary stagnation, when politics is made according to the principle “go there — I don’t know where”.

Different was our Duma. And the sacramental phrase of Speaker Gryzlov: "Parliament is not a place for discussion." On it, then the whole philosophy of exposure was built. But if you think about how otherwise it was to keep the trotters of demagogy, populism and dizziness from the Makhnovist freemen? How else to arrange the chaos of political entertainment?

Now, after the passage of time, it can be said that there was a gradual pacification of the unbridled parliamentary pacer or the transfer of his work into a constructive course. Of course, it’s fun to watch as “servants of the people” cover each other with non-parliamentary expressions, tear a shirt over their chests and sprinkle on each other what they have or more often - they attack right and left. But what is the greed of society for all this? After all, the show is already above the roof, we are already sick, the right word ...

Nihilism in relation to state institutions, to the State Duma is in many ways a comfortable posture, non-binding and referring to the times when everything was crushed. Well, yes, it is convenient to scold the narrow-minded when there is no show, when boring work ...

It is possible to scold the Russian parliament for much more, we are watching it, but the dynamics, evolution will not be noted wrong. It develops with society. At least, no longer ashamed. It has long been not so wobbly, as in the intoxicating gait of the nineties.

One of the indicators of the quarter-century path of the modern Duma is to work on the mistakes of the past. And the raised Afghan issue here is extremely important. The Russian parliament has now become mature, turned into a powerful state institute, ready to defend the interests of the state and citizens, and not to surrender everything and everyone. And the elects themselves were disciplined so that now you don’t take much time with your deputy ticket in your pocket, you have to work.

With all the criticality and even hypercriticality, reaching for pickyness, you can not carry everything to dust, otherwise ... you can lose another country. Let's better equip her and her institutions. Butting like an oak calf is infinitely impossible, and counterproductive.
