[SBS Special] Shine! My grandmother ①

My grandmother's life is a milestone and heritage of our lives.

SBS 'SBS Special' broadcast on the night of 9, 'Shine! My Grandmother 'was the theme of her grandchildren' s grandchildren 's life.

She had been suffering from Alzheimer 's disease eight years ago and forgetting her grandchildren and children' s names. But there were some clear memories in her memory. Kim Gwang - Na has deepened his curiosity about his grandmother.

Kim Gwang-Na, who is looking for her grandmother's house every week for two years, thought she should remember about her grandmother's life before she lost all her memories.

My grandmother hardly mentioned the names of the children one by one. And she said to her father and her mother, "I remember because my mother gave me food, but I do not know my father," she said.

And when she was young, she remembered her husband clearly, but she had forgotten all of her appearance as a child. I also did not remember how I met her husband.

"I do not want to go back again because it was too difficult in olden days," said the grandmother, who forgot 80 years of age. The children are so pitiful, "the past clearly remembered. Grandpa asked, "Why do you remember to forget it?" My grandma said, "I have to forget it, but I keep thinking about it. It's been so hard these days, but it was so difficult."

Kim went to look for her grandmother's past. I found a village where my grandmother's rice field was found. There were quite a few people in the village who remembered her grandmother. The grandmother said that she lived with her neighbors even though she was not comfortable with it.

Six months ago, as her illness deepened, her grandmother moved near her children 's home. But until then, her grandmother spent thirty years in a village. And grandmother and grandchildren found an old house. The old house clearly remembered the grandmother, but she could not remember her neighbors.

About the grandmother, the neighbors of the old neighborhood were "Grandmother like Buddha. I lived with my father to 99 years old." My grandfather died, and my grandmother just developed dementia.

My grandmother, who visited the old town hall, met her neighbors and became a brighter face than ever. And my grandmother sang: "Come on and come back to me. Neighbors said, "I called this song every time I went to the outing."

"I want to share my memories about my grandmother with my family," said Kim Gwang-Na, who said that her grandmother is like a guide to her life. "The memory is always now, and the most important thing is now," he said. "I will do my best to see and meet people."

Jung Yong-han (33), who is preparing to open a bookstore, searched for a cottage to receive a grandmother's ticket. I wanted to spread the taste of my grandmother to many people in bookstores.

She talked to her grandmother about her sikhye and yangkeng recipe. His grandmother, Lee (82), had lived near the fireplace for the rest of his life. "I feel like my grandmother's life is melting in the fireplace," said Grandmother Jung Yohan, a grandmother who knew she had never chosen her own but had lived for her family.

She says, "I want to imitate the diligence of my grandmother, and I want to give it to my children. It seems to be one big legacy."

However, Young (38) has found a diary of his grandmother's household book, which has about 60 books in his home. There was a story of a woman named Oh Young Soon (93) in the diary written by 50 grandmothers. I was tired of repetitive life, but the young writer told me that he came to see his grandmother's childhood diary and looked back at his life.

My grandmother said, "When I raise children, it is not good to record it. The diary contained the wisdom of life that the grandmother had lived through.

My grandmother's life to live a good day, not just to show it to someone, taught her granddaughter how to live. However, Young writer was attracted to me by saying, "I saw my grandmother, and I felt like a stepping stone to me, a milestone that I should go with what I believe in myself."
