Director of Cultural Affairs and Director of the Festival of Islamic Arts, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Qusair, inaugurated eight written exhibitions at Al-Khatt Square, where the Gulf Calligraphers, which will be held for the first time in cooperation with the Emirates Association of Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Decoration, , And Sharjah Center for Arabic Calligraphy, as part of the 21st session of the festival, in the presence of Arab and foreign artists and local and Arab media.

The calligraphy forum is attended by 21 young artists who are inspired by creativity from the Gulf states: the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman in support of the arts of Arabic calligraphy. Creativity, and the words and letters in the works such as the sober construction, the foundation of the original lines, and the characters, and decoration; and the texts of Quranic verses, on the one hand, and poems and words illustrated on the other hand, and acquired aesthetic and visual energy to allow it diversity in the stylistic work on the artistic director.

The exhibition included 107 works by the four artists: Egyptian Majdi Khudair, owner of the "Spirituality of Fragrant History" exhibition, which includes 35 works, while the participation of Iraqis Ziad al-Mohandes and Saman Kakha gave a new artistic taste with 45 works. On the walls of the center of the line there were three written exhibitions that included 113 written works by the three artists: Iraqi Mohammed Al Nouri, owner of the exhibition "The Immortal Crafts", which includes 25 works, while the exhibition of the Turkish "Abro" artist Alba Arslan comes in 20 letters, Turkelman and her students at the Sharjah Exposition show 68 works.
