Vladimir Zelensky admitted the presence of problems with recruitment and management in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, spent the entire day directly in the combat zone.

Zelenski said that the Ukrainian army had switched to a “defensive operation” on the line of combat contact. The head of the joint coordination press center of the southern defense forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, admitted that the Ukraine army has no armored vehicles left in service.
