Zelensky said this in a video message published on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, spent the entire day directly in the combat zone.
“They reported the situation. They are solving existing problems: staffing units, strengthening, management,” he said.
Earlier, Alexander Syrsky said that the Ukrainian army had switched to a “defensive operation” on the line of combat contact.
The head of the joint coordination press center of the southern defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, admitted that the Ukrainian army has no armored vehicles left in service.
