The issue of who should be the next leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has been raised again and again. The question is whether the PSOE should be allowed to nominate a candidate for the next presidential election in 2015.

The PSOE says it will decide in the next few days whether or not the party should be able to choose a candidate or not. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis, with the aim of ensuring that all candidates are given a fair chance to make their case.
