The murder investigation of a woman in her 60s, who was found dead in Veinge in early March, is closed. Prosecutors no longer suspect any crime.
A man was arrested but then released. There is no reason to assume that the deceased was killed by any intentional force or equivalent, says pre-trial investigator Eva Lotta Swahn. "It is better to be careful from the beginning so that you do not miss a murder," says Swahn, who is also a police officer.
