There is no research on how the snus affects the teeth or the rest of the mouth. The Public Dental Service in Region Stockholm is launching a study.
Both men and women aged 18 to 30 years participate in the study. There are about as many men as women who use white snus, while traditional snus use attracts an overwhelming majority of men. But the white nicotine pouches with a taste of, for example, mint, fruit and coffee have attracted young women to start using snus.
