The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, published pictures of what it said was targeting by its fighters of Israeli soldiers and vehicles. The pictures showed a troop carrier being spotted during its incursion into Al-Shuhadaa Street, raising the Israeli flag.
Pictures also showed a group of infantry soldiers being spotted and bombarded with a mortar shell. The images were published by Al Jazeera, a news agency based in the Palestinian territory of Gaza City.
